E3 – Economy, Energy and Environment for Food-Related Industries

PennTAP will review the common pollution prevention measures available in the food processing industry. Using a mix of traditional pollution prevention tools and continuous improvement techniques, PennTAP will show you how to maximize savings, with a focus on food waste, packaging waste, solid waste, water, and energy.

PennTAP is available to assist a limited number of Pennsylvania facilities with continuous improvement, energy efficiency, and pollution prevention. The assessments are covered by a grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and are provided at no cost to you.
