IMC’s Director of Innovation, Russ Lawrence, recently completed Villanova University’s Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification program. The program included eight exams covering the full scope of Lean / Six Sigma concepts and practices and a comprehensive project that applied Six Sigma tools and techniques to improve business outcomes.
“Though I’ve been directly involved with Lean since 1988, I’m really glad I took the course. There’s always much to learn when it comes to Continuous Improvement. The whole idea is to keep upgrading our / IMC’s know-how and capabilities so that we can better support the success of our area’s small and mid-sized manufacturers. And in today’s super-fast changing and competitive marketplace we see Lean / Continuous Improvement as critical to the success of any company.
