The Southern Alleghenies Partnership for Regional Economic Performance (PREP) is announcing the Alleghenies Marketing Challenge, a marketing education initiative with a special incentive – the chance to win 60 hours of marketing services over a 6-month period from Prime Design Solutions, a Johnstown-based marketing firm. Businesses from six counties (Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset) are invited to attend a series of four marketing training seminars and six businesses will be selected to win. The project is financed by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community and Economic Development, to assist participating companies to gain the skills necessary to develop and implement successful marketing strategies.
“We’re thinking of this as a competition, but the truth is that everybody wins,” said Debbi Prosser, Director- Business Development at SAP&DC. “Every business who attends will come away with tools that will help them grow through effective marketing, even if they don’t complete all the seminars.”
If participants successfully complete all four training sessions and meet all of the business eligibility requirements, they can then enter the contest to win the 6 months of marketing services that will be provided to their business. The first session is FREE with a $35 fee for the other 3 sessions collectively. Training sessions include:
