DOE Energy Management Programs for Manufacturers
Interested in learning about the U.S. Department of Energy’s energy management services for manufacturers?
In this session, we’ll hear from DoE program mangers as they discuss their 50,001 Ready, Industrial Assessment Center (IAC), and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) programs:
- 50,001 Ready – This program is a self-paced, no-cost way for organizations to build a culture of structured energy improvement that leads to deeper and sustained savings that does not require any external audits or certifications.
- IAC – Small and medium-sized manufacturers may be eligible to receive a no-cost assessment provided by DOE IACs. Teams located at 31 universities around the country conduct energy assessments to identify opportunities to improve productivity and competitiveness, reduce waste, and save energy.
- CHP – The goal of the CHP R&D project portfolio is to enable private sector development of flexible CHP systems that can play a potential role in stabilizing and improving the resiliency of the electric grid.
The session will be recorded and will last one hour, including time for Q&A.
