Energy Tracking Workshop
April 23, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pmFree
$elinsgrove $aves – The Energy Project
The provision of energy audits from qualified contractors will be a key activity of the $elinsgrove $aves project over the next several months. The snapshot of your recent energy use and cost history will aid greatly in determining if an energy audit will be valuable to you in identifying cost-effective opportunities for you to reduce energy costs.
The attached Energy Tracking form was designed specifically for you to enter the monthly consumption and costs of all types of energy your facility may use. When you enter the data into the Energy Tracker, totals are calculated for you in the tables and graphs are automatically created in several worksheet tabs to illustrate your electricity and heating fuel use and costs over time. This information, coupled with your facility’s square footage and hours of operation, will determine the value of your facility receiving an energy audit that will pinpoint the most cost-effective ways for your organization to save energy.
This workshop will teach you the simple steps of entering information from your utility bills into the worksheet. Bring at least one, and preferably all, of your 2014-15 electricity and heating bills to the workshop designed to set you on the path to energy savings. If you complete the Energy Tracker prior to the workshop, print a copy of the tables and graphs and bring these with you to the workshop along with at least one recent bill for each type of energy that you use.
Space is limited to the first 25 organizations that register.
