Robotic End of Arm Tooling and Grippers
Robotic end of arm tools, also commonly called robotic grippers or end effectors, occupy a critical position in many robotic systems.
In this webinar, we will explore their role as the interface between robots and the materials they handle. We will review the different types of grippers, criteria for choosing the proper gripper, how 3D printing can play a role, as well as common applications in manufacturing.
This event is being sponsored by IMC funder and sister centers: the National Institute of Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Purdue MEP, The Center for Industrial Research and Service at Iowa State University (CIRA), and the Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC).
