Solving Your Supply Chain Challenges & Building Resiliency
The last year and a half has shaken the supply chain plans of every industry, particularly the transportation and manufacturing sectors. Supply shortages threaten manufacturers’ ability to meet demand, and the semiconductor chip shortage threatens to hobble the emerging global recovery.
Join us as Ernst & Young LLP, IndustryWeek and FleetOwner panelists explore these critical issues facing the transportation and manufacturing sectors. We’ll examine both global issues and actions individual companies can take to create tomorrow’s supply chain today.
In this webinar, you will learn:
- How COVID-19 exposed the vulnerabilities of supply chains engineered primarily for cost and speed
- Why supply chains and business operations must undergo a radical restructuring to meet the challenge of improving performance and innovation
- Why the impact of the global chip shortage stretches beyond the transportation industry
- An understanding that supply chain resilience is more than just adding capacity or arranging for alternate suppliers in times of crisis
We’ll also share insights from supply chain advisors on:
- How visibility across the supply chain includes capabilities to sense or predict supply and demand
- Tips to control costs, reduce risks and maximize throughput more effectively
- Why the rewards of a resilient supply chain are both economic and social
