Technology for EHS Performance Excellence: 2022 and Beyond
EHS professionals must lean on processes to effectively navigate occupational safety issues, hazards, and regulations. There is no shortage of technology available, but EHS professionals have a shortage of time to thoroughly evaluate solutions available to them.
This session will provide resources for EHS professionals to evaluate different types of technology including artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, Internet of Things, wearable devices and more. Strategies for building processes around risk management based on data will be discussed, with emphasis on how to embed tech-informed actions into existing health and safety processes.
Learning objectives:
- Identify technology solutions available to EHS professionals based on industry and existing adoption of available platforms.
- Define steps to evaluate technology solutions based on organizational climate and other factors.
- Discuss drawbacks to increased use of technology and how to keep the human element of your organization’s EHS processes.
- List what to expect in 2022 related to EHS technology tools.
