SUMMARY:Learn More About the Technology Showcase at Shale Insight Conference
DESCRIPTION:Print PDFPrintLearn about an opportunity to work directly with customers in the shale industry while receiving valuable feedback on your product\, innovation\, or technology. \nThe SHALE INSIGHT® 2025 annual Technology Showcase will be held on September 17\, 3:15 pm – 4:30 pm. The Technology Showcase provides a premiere opportunity for developers of emerging technologies to introduce new innovations to the natural gas industry and its service providers. Selected from a competitive field of entries by the MSC Research Collaborative\, the Technology Showcase will highlight the latest technologies coming to the industry. \nThe Research Collaborative is seeking applications from technology providers interested in presenting their field test-ready innovations to oil and gas industry stakeholders. Technologies beneficial to natural gas exploration\, production\, midstream\, service and utilization areas should be ready for pilot testing\, slip stream or full-scale demonstration in the Marcellus and Utica shales. In a format similar to that of a venture capital fair\, selected suppliers will be asked to deliver a brief 8-minute presentation followed by a 2-minute Q&A session. Up to 6 applicants will be selected to present at the Technology Showcase. Several technologies that were presented in the last three years have led to established industrial partnerships. Deadline to apply is August 7\, 2025. \nThis session will be led by Kathryn Klaber of the Klaber Group. Ms. Klaber has nearly 20 years experience in the Shale Industry including leading the Marcellus Shale Coalition and spearheading the creation of the Technology Showcase. Ms. Klaber will be joined by Loren Anderson. Mr. Anderson is the Director\, Technical Affairs for the Marcellus Shale Coalition and leads the organizations efforts with the showcase. \nSeveral technologies that were presented in the last several years have led to established industrial partnerships. \nRegister \nPrint PDFPrint

SUMMARY:Energy Industry Overview Map - AI Data Centers: Advanced Cooling
DESCRIPTION:Print PDFPrintThis webinar will focus on the advanced cooling and thermal management needs for AI Data Centers. Data centers require advanced cooling solutions—such as direct-to-chip liquid cooling\, microchannel cold plates\, and pumped two-phase systems—to efficiently manage heat from high-power CPUs and GPUs.\nRack-level cooling technologies\, including forced convection\, heat pipes\, and thermosyphons\, are critical for supporting high-density server racks and ensuring reliable thermal performance. Facility-level systems like CRAHs\, CRACs\, dry coolers\, and cooling towers handle large-scale heat loads while maximizing energy efficiency and maintaining precise temperature control. Integration of smart controls and monitoring enables scalable operations\, improved energy management\, and supports evolving data center infrastructure needs. \nThe Energy & Manufacturing in Appalachia (EMA) project helps manufactures understand and navigate opportunities in the vast energy supply chains. The EMA team\, along with outside experts\, have developed supply chain maps for each energy segment or sub-segment to help manufacturers navigate these industry sectors. \nThe supply chain maps provide introductory overview of the market size\, key drivers\, supply chain needs\, and components for each of the specific segments. \nRegister \nThe AI Data Centers: Advanced Cooling was drafted by Dr. Deborah Stine. Deb is the Founder of the Science & Technology Policy Academy which provides independent consulting\, policy analysis\, program evaluation\, freelance writing\, teaching\, and coaching services.
