RISE PA: Opportunities for Manufacturers
Reducing Industrial Sector Emissions in Pennsylvania (RISE PA) is a $396 million statewide grant program funded through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Climate Pollution Reduction Grants under the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The program is administered through the PA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
DEP anticipates starting to accept applications in early 2025 with selected projects awarded in mid 2025. Small manufacturers can receive up to $400k for their project, with a 50% match maximum. Medium and large manufactures can also apply for up to a 30% match on larger scale projects.
To qualify for RISE PA grants, projects must deploy one or more of the following GHG reduction measures:
- Industrial electrification, efficiency, and process emissions
- Low carbon fuels
- Onsite renewable energy
- Carbon capture utilization & storage
- Fugitive emissions reductions
Join us to learn more on the process, requirements, timeline, and opportunities from the RISE PA grant program.
The webinar will be led by Louie Krak who serves as the Infrastructure Implementation Coordinator for the Pennsylvania DEP. In addition to assistance from the DEP, team members of the Clean Energy Manufacturing in Appalachia project will be available to assist manufacturers through the grant process.
