IMC is a not-for-profit public/private partnership dedicated to creating manufacturing jobs and economic opportunity in Central Pennsylvania. For over 35 years, IMC has helped small and mid-sized manufacturers become more competitive, adopt lean and agile processes, strategically grow their companies, and invest more effectively in advanced technologies and their existing human capital. Our center strives to improve the competitiveness of manufacturers throughout a 12-county region (Bedford, Blair, Centre, Clinton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Union) so that those firms continue to create and sustain good-paying advanced manufacturing jobs for our families, friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens.
IMC is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) program as well as the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Industrial Resource Center (IRC) program.
IMC provides a professional, collaborative, and respectful work environment. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
