Critical Supply Needs:
Pennsylvania Launches Manufacturing Call to Action Portal: With the on-going need for PPE and other critical medical supplies, the Wolf administration has launched a Manufacturing Call to Action portal, with the intent to:
- Match Pennsylvania manufacturers and distributors to fill specific supply chain needs to meet increasing demands for medical supplies and related products.
- Assist Pennsylvania manufacturers who have workforce needs or gaps and assist them with identifying skilled workers.
- Identify Pennsylvania manufacturers who can pivot or innovate to fulfill the demand for medical supplies and related products.
The administration welcomes manufacturers as described above with a Pennsylvania presence to inform the state of capabilities, needs, gaps or potential innovative solutions. Click here to submit information.
Critical Supply List – Manufacturing Specs:
The maker community has created an open-source compendium of manufacturing blueprints and specs for many of the critical items on state and hospital critical needs lists. The specs are housed in a Google doc that has a great deal of information and is a good source of manufacturing information for making hand sanitizer, examination gloves, negative pressure rooms, and much more. Click here for the full list of specs.
Supplier Scouting Services:
IMC is partnering with the MEP National Network™ to connect U.S. manufacturers that have relevant production capabilities and capacities with other manufacturers – enabling them to fulfill current market and societal needs. We can then assist those manufacturers in actually delivering needed products. If your company is at risk of shutting down due to supplier unavailability, IMC and NIST MEP may be able to help. If your company is interested in potentially pivoting or retooling to be able to supply critically needed items, IMC and NIST MEP may be able to help. To learn more about the Suppler Scouting Services, contact IMC Business Advisor, Dana Gordon, firstname.lastname@example.org, 814.933.7828.
Supply Chain Resources:
The CPWDC Business Services Team is available to help around layoffs and closings. Send an email to email@example.com with layoff and closing related questions or needs.
Other Business Resources:
- Contact your lender to see what offers they have for businesses if you believe you will have difficulty making business loan payments, etc.
